As the primary designer in an active startup environment, I set brand standards and delivered quality content for print, digital, motion graphics, signage, apparel and event merchandise. I managed deadlines, tight turnarounds and unexpected requests. I collaborated with internal teams to strategically elevate the creative of each client’s established brand. I clearly and concisely expressed ideas and concepts, consistently offering creative insight, suggestions, and recommendations. I provided freelance designers with art direction and feedback, assigning them tasks as needed.
As a freelance designer, I built brand identities, brought client’s visions to life through close collaboration, and provided design recommendations and best practices. I offered a la carte design services unique to each client’s needs such as event branding, signage, illustration and print and digital design.
I upheld global brand standards and delivered high quality content for print, digital, signage, apparel and event items. I welcomed feedback from the creative director and senior designer, working closely with them on all projects. I collaborated with internal teams to ensure all creative met client goals. I consistently met deadlines, managing my time in a fast-paced environment.
I created advertisements for language programs, events, social media and email campaigns. I conceptualized event branding and promotional material across print and digital mediums. I delivered collateral under tight deadlines, working either independently or under staff direction.
I trained three new hires, and authored four Standard Operating Procedures and a comprehensive instruction manual to ensure consistent completion of administrative tasks. I oversaw eight staff members in three large scale projects with 2,500 data items entered. I processed administrative tasks and provided logistical support for four internal departments.
