I crafted video & paid media ads for the University of California Irvine’s 2020 Virtual Anti-Cancer Challenge.

Our ad campaigns secured over 300 registrations, exceeding our client’s registration goals. The digital ads were tailored for socials, while the video ad targeted local LA Fitness gyms.

As the digital ads were for social media it provided a unique opportunity for our client to gain participants across the country for the first time in their event’s history.

CauseForce’s Marketing team strategized the approach and copy for the ad campaign and based on their briefing I crafted the art direction for the campaign. The ads leveraged the event’s minimal branding and prioritized engaging event images and clear calls to action.

The video ad targeted prospective participants at LA Fitnesses in Irvine, CA. Using past promotional videos as a reference, I integrated new motion graphics and a fresh edit of existing event footage to create an uplifting tone reflective of the event’s atmosphere and purpose.
